Discover the magic of the Dordogne Valley from this cosy cottage at Les Chouettes.

The cottage is a 17th century Périgordian style farmhouse which can accommodate 8 adults comfortably.  On arrival you will notice the beautiful high sway-style rooftop and the honey coloured stone which is typical of the Dordogne region.  Should you wish to bring your friends and family, why not rent the barn with the cottage to accommodate everyone.

The cottage and barn are situated only 1 km from Tremolat village, which hosts 5 great restaurants, a wine bar, a cafe, a boulangerie and is only 30 minutes from Bergerac Airport.

Les Chouettes is perfectly placed for you to enjoy all that Tremolat has to offer and to explore local markets, chateaux wineries, castles, and caves which have some very interesting painting painted by the early man

The cottage itself offers three eating areas outside, which means you can choose where you would like to have your meals, depending on the heat of the day or the weather. You have use of the beautiful big swimming pool all to yourself, volley ball, ping pong and eight simple bikes to explore the area.

Should you prefer to use an electric bike, we can hire one from a local Bike Hire companies on your behalf.

The Barn

This newly converted 18th century honey coloured stone barn overlooks a walnut orchard.  It has three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, only 1kms from the village of Tremolat in the Dordogne Valley.  Enjoy the large airy kitchen/dining and lounge area. There are two great outdoor entertainment areas and a 3 x 3 splash pool to keep you cool in summer.

The barn has been equipped with all the necessary one would require, when staying in the French Country.  The Barn is adjacent to the Cottage which makes it also suitable for larger groups to rent both the cottage and barn at the same time. Many large friend groups and families have enjoyed our beautiful area together. 

Les Chouettes is situated within one kilometre of the Village of Tremolat. Here you can find a Michelin Star Restaurant at the Vieux Logis hotel, a fabulous Michelin star Bistro (Bistro en face), a Pizzeria (Nulle Part Ailleurs), a wine bar (Les Tartines) and a cosy and fun Village cafe where you get to meet many of the locals.  We meet regularly for music sessions, themed evenings, quiz nights, yoga and much much more.  The barn is in easy reach of a variety of interesting markets, chateaux wineries, historical sites and many other restaurants.

We are also available to advise you and your family on our cycle and walking trails.  If birding is your hobby, we have so many gorgeous birds in our area.

Don't forget to visit some of our beautiful chateaux's, caves that show evidence of early man.  Wine tasting and mostly enjoy our many lovely restaurants in the area.  You cannot go wrong should you choose to have your holiday vacation in the Dordogne.
